Returns & Refunds

ORDERS

Once you have placed your order, we will package and post your item to the addressed specified during your purchase. Please note that we cannot accept any responsibility for address mistakes. We ask that you check the address before completing your payment.

Returns 
Our policy lasts in total 28 days. If 28 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it and be in its original packaging.  Original condition means that there are no marks on the product and the product’s packaging has not been opened, used or damaged and the product is in a re-saleable condition. If the product is not in the original packaging or is damaged in any way we are not obliged to refund you. You have 14 days from receiving your order to let us know that you wish to return and another 14 days to return the item. To initiate a return/exchange, please send an email to ameliarosescents@gmail.com with a list of the items that you want to return, the order number and the reason you are not satisfied with the product. 

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)  
– Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

You must pay the return postal cost. Please use a “signed for” service to guarantee proof of delivery back to me. We will not refund any items lost in the post or not delivered to us. Make sure your items are securely wrapped, it is your responsibility to ensure returned items are resalable.
 
Refunds (if applicable) 
Once your return is received and checked, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item(s). We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Allow up to 14 days upon return of goods for funds to be credited to your original method of payment (minus any original shipping costs).

Late or missing refunds (if applicable) 
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. 
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. 
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. 
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at ameliarosescents@gmail.com. 

Sale items (if applicable) 
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. 

Exchanges (if applicable) 
We do not offer exchanges. Please return for a refund and re order the item you would prefer. Please follow the return process.

Gifts 
Products given as a gift can only be returned by the original purchaser.

Shipping 
To return your product, you should mail your product to: Amelia Rose Scents, 67 Meadow Brook, Wigan, WN58ED United Kingdom 
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. 

FAULTY PRODUCTS
If your item is faulty (within 6 months of the purchase date) please email ameliarosescents@gmail.com and we will, exchange, repair or refund you . Some items may be out of stock but we will exchange as soon as the item becomes available, if its no longer available a refund will be credited to your original method of payment. If you can return the item in the original packaging please do. If not, please wrap and package very well to avoid more damage to the item.

Please note that due to the nature of soy wax sometimes you will see frosting on them, this is not a fault and is totally normal. Wax melts, they are designed to be snapped and placed in a wax melter. Therefore they can snap during transit. Frosting and snapped melts does not mean they are faulty and will perform as they should. I package my items very well to avoid this but it sometimes it cannot be helped. All wax bought as waxident are not faulty and is stated so on the webpage, they’re just a little uglier then usual maybe from excess frosting or have been snapped/chipped.
